Greetings!

On March 8, the Illinois Senate Public Health Committee will hold their hearing on SB1329The outcome of this committee on Tuesday is critical and comes down to the votes of ten Senators.

Despite the timely support last week from the American Academy of Pediatrics that children under 18 should be prohibited from using tanning devices, the Illinois House Human Services Committee voted down moving HB1666 out of committee by only two votes.  A different outcome in the Senate is important for our teens.

We must let it be known that Illinois cares about keeping our kids safe from indoor tanning.  The loudest voices for these ten committee Senators are their own constituents.

Make your voice heard by phone or email before Tuesday!  Click here for phone numbers, a sample letter of support, and emails of all committee members.
Donna's Story (60-Second PSA)
Donna's Story (60-Second PSA)

Donna is the mother of a teen who used tanning beds frequently and was diagnosed skin cancer. If you need one more reason to take action, listen to her story captured in this PSA put out by the American Academy of Dermatology Association.

Our teens need you to get involved.
