| Take A Hike is Now Open on Bay Street! |
|
|
...in time for winter fun & holiday shopping | November 2010 |
|
On November 12th we quietly opened the doors to our new store at 309 Bay Street. Since then we've been overwhelmed by a steady stream of shoppers, neighbours and well-wishers.
Although we're planning a formal GRAND RE-OPENING in the coming weeks, we invite you as a valued customer to drop by early for your special tour.
My staff & I are absolutely thrilled about new quarters and can't wait to welcome you.
Again thank you for your on-going support and encouragement.
Warm regards,
Diane & the rest the team

| There is Plenty of Nearby Parking
Customer parking was an important factor in selecting a new location.
Immediately outside our door you'll find on-street metered angle parking.
Across the street from our store the Finlandia Club operates a parking lot. You can park all day for just one dollar.
If you drive past our store and turn right onto Secord Street there is a municipal metered parking lot.
Some visitors to the area park at the Italian Centennial Hall on Algoma or in the free municipal parking lot behind Maier Hardware. You can access the municipal lot off of Machar Avenue. |
A BIG THANK YOU!
Our new store wouldn't have been possible without the support of many. It took engineers, electricians, painters, carpenters, floor installers, woodworkers, drywallers, sign designers, a "Mark"-of-all trades, concrete, glass and computer specialists, security, telephone and sound technicians, architects and drafts people, movers, building supply companies, retail designer/coach and mom and dad.
My biggest thank however goes to my employees who weathered many ups and downs over the past several months and through it all demonstrated incredible committment, strength and spirit.
I am so very proud of what we've accomplished together.
