La Casona, GSM, 'Old Vine', 2009, Spain - Another value hit from this producer. Aromatic and lifted cherry notes with a firm structure, fabulous pasta wine.
Morande, Carmenere, 2008, Argentina - Huge fan of this wine, the aromas of violets, cassis and blackberry leap from the glass. This is followed by a smoky, minerally bouquet. Rich and round this full bodied Carmenere is  sure to please.
