Below are some interesting statistics based on a recent Men's Health survey.

Following that, Cindy shares some of her own experiences and information that answer frequently asked questions.

• 1 in 3 say souls come back to haunt us
• 41% believe it's possible to communicate with the dead
• 7% have tried an Ouija board
• 25% see out spooky thrills, like ghost tours, while on vacaton
• 2 in 3 believe places can be haunted
• 1 in 3 claim they have had firsthand paranormal experience
• 69% think miracles can happen
• 66% believe Angels are watching over us
• 24% believe in reincarnation
• 10% have consulted with a psychic or furtune teller
• 15% think certain people can cast harmful curses and spells
• 3 in 5 knock on wood for luck
• 1 in 5 have a good-luck charm
• 36% think UFOs are real
• 48% of adults believe in ESP (extra-sensory perception)

Cindy's Comments

"In all the years of my spiritual awakening, understanding, and professional work, I have found all of the above to be plausible (in my reality).

To hop onto my soapbox, I would say that those who do not yet believe (or at least entertain) these issues, are simply in denial of all of the evidence and experience that has been presented throughout history, especially now with our modern detection devices. Or perhaps they are just too afraid to bring it into their awareness, which may be a good idea for them right now. I would recommend those people still be accepting of others' beliefs (as we all ought to be!).

In my own experience: 

• Discarnate spirits ("ghosts") are everywhere. Not just scary or "haunted" places.
• I rarely sense spirits in cemeteries.
• People can still become possessed, and it's more common than most realize (and easy to resolve in most cases). This situation may drain our energy, or in more dramatic cases (which are rare), influence our thoughts, actions, or health.
• In all my years of professional psychic work, I have found only one case of a loved one becoming a spirit guide after crossing over. That is a highly unusual circumstance. Our loved ones can certainly visit and communicate with us whenever they choose, however.
• If you are unable to communicate with a loved one on the 'other side', it can either be due to your level of awareness/openness or whether or not you have emotionally let go of them. It usually has little to do with the spirit.
• "Evil" spirits do exist, just like "evil" people exist. But at their core is the same spark of Light that created us all. (The same can be said about extraterrestrials, although I rarely encounter a negative ET.)
• Spirits cannot harm us unless we give permission (by exhibiting fear, self-destructive behavior and insecurity).
• At no time is it appropriate for a discarnate spirit to remain in the 3rd dimensional plane, regardless of how "friendly" they seem to be. They're imprisoned here.
• If you think you saw something, you saw something. Our eyes don't actually 'play tricks on us.' Our imagination is our psychic/intuitive faculty.
• You're not crazy because you had a paranormal experience!
• I believe that people with multiple personality disorders may often have multiple possessions.
• You draw spirits to your home/experience when you are afraid of them (or exibit the traits listed above).
• A house clearing cannot be permanent, but new manifestations can certainly be prevented.
• Nearly everything I have encountered in this work so far (which in the past I thought would terrify me) has not actually frightened me. I think we are more afraid of fear itself than the actual experiences."
