The Women's Fund needs to raise just another $6,643 to reach the $75,000 match from the Groundswell Foundation to support reproductive justice work here in Milwaukee.
The reproductive justice movement is led by women of color and intersects with other social justice issues like infant mortality, immigration, and teen pregnancy. The fact is that some women still don't have as many choices as others.
Through this matching grant, we've been able to more than double our support of the Reproductive Justice Collective - led by Sarah Noble - and other organizations, including CORE/el Centro, the Hmong American Women's Association. All are working for reproductive justice, an innovative and inclusive social change strategy.
