Iran Update

Greetings!

Iranian state-run media started to panic this morning after a Wall Street Journal report stated that the U.S. Department of State is moving in the direction of removing the Iranian Resistance from its Foreign Terrorist Organizations list.  You can see the Links to Wall Street Journal article and also the subsequent report by Associated Press which was published on Fox News website below. While the move to delist the MEK should be welcomed but nothing can justify delaying it any further. It must be done now as it has long been overdue.

Iranian regime's 'Press TV' reacted by publishing a large picture of Secretary Clinton walking (and smiling) in front of MEK supporters.  The website also repeated the same old stories of the MEK fleeing to Iraq to setup Camp Ashraf, never mentioning the atrocities of the mullahs that cased the group to be forced to leave its own country to go to Iraq; and again raised other allegations against the group.

Meanwhile another Iranian state-run news agency, Fars News, which is close to the Revolutionary Guards wrote (in an article that was immediately taken off its website after publication), "The United States intends to remove the name of MEK from its FTO list".  This news agency related the announcement to the meeting of P5+1 with the mullahs in Baghdad to discuss Iran's nuclear program.
