| Three publicly hanged in Iran

| Two days after the Iranian regime's judiciary chief called for more suppression and hangings, on Saturday three people were publicly hanged in the southern city of Shiraz, according to state-run web site Iran Khabar. The victims were reportedly accused of "moharebeh" (waging war on God), and were only identified by their first names and last initials as Reza R., Roknoddin K. and Abolfazl F. They were 28, 26, and 25 years old, respectively.
