CBAA Intramural Basketball Update
Basketball logo
Registration for CBAA Intramural Basketball will close on Sunday, November 14th at midnight.
Some of our leagues are at or very close to capacity.  The following leagues are closed and no longer accepting registration:
Boys 5th and 6th Grades
Boys Middle School (grades 7-9).
It is not the intention of CBAA Basketball to turn any child that wants to play basketball at CBAA away. However, our resources such as gym time are limited and we have to limit the number of teams that we can have. If you have been putting registration off  please register now so that we can accommodate your child.
In late November league directors will be holding drafts and putting teams together.
Coaches will receive their rosters after Thanksgiving and practices will start and take place during the weekends in December. Games will not begin until January with uniform distribution occurring after the new year.
If you have any questions please contact us at info@cbaabasketball.net. Thank you for understanding.

Field & Courtside Maintenance Day a Huge Success!
CBAA Logo

Between 10:30 and 3:00 on Sunday November 7th, we had almost 50 volunteers from all of our programs show up to help with field maintenance.

Bryan Rosica, the Fields and Equipment Chair for BUSC stated, "Among other things, we filled up a 20-yard dumpster with trash, broken equipment, rotted wood, etc..   I was extremely pleased with the turn-out and all of the tasks we accomplished!"

A day of teamwork and community was truly in action!   Here's what they did:

  • Picked up trash
  • Weed whacked
  • Cleaned out the fenced in storage area
  • Repaired all split rail fences and removed banners
  • Fixed all the broken picnic tables
  • Removed all the intramural goals from the fields
  • Hung all advertising signs with metal wire...and reinforced all other signs that were already in place
  • Primed and painted the exterior of the bathrooms...including the electrical box
  • Filled all low areas in the parking lot with fill stone
  • Realigned all parking bumpers
  • Moved all bags of turface into the storage container
  • Organized the wood decking by the shed and cleaned around the shed
  • Pulled up and realigned rail ties in front of the shed and lag screwed them together to keep in place
  • Fixed the steps going into the shed
  • Trimmed trees
  • Removed hurricane fence sections near the driveway circle
  • Weeded and cleaned out the circular landscaped area as you pull into the parking lot
  • Cleaned up all the concrete chunks near the basketball courts
  • Disconnected all hoses and placed them in storage
  • Installed parking sign in the front of the parking lot
  • Removed extra trash cans from the fields and put them in storage
Thank you to everyone who helped in this effort!
