CBAA Basketball Registration
CBAA Basketball registration closes on October 31 or when the league reaches capacity. All registrations received after that date will be subject to a $25 late fee and players will be put on a waiting list. Register online at www.cbaabasketball.net.
CBAA Intramural Evaluation Dates
All boys and girls in grades 1-6 that are playing CBAA Intramural Basketball during the 2010/11 Season must attend the evaluations for their specific league. Evaluations are a tremendous help to league directors in the development of teams. CBAA tries its best at having teams that are as equal as possible with regards to skills, height, etc. Evaluation dates are now posted on our website.
Players that do not attend evaluations will not have any request to play with friends honored. No more then three player requests per player will be honored.
CBAA Jr. Referee Program: Clinic Dates
CBAA runs a junior referee program for boys and girls in grades 9th-12th that are alumni of its program and are looking to learn the game of basketball from an officials perspective.Junior refs are paid. Spots are limited and the quality of the work during assigned games determines the number of games assigned. For the 2010/11 Season CBAA has no need for new boy refs. All positions are taken. CBAA is looking for girls only. If interested please contact Patrice Ockenhouse at patocken@gmail.com. Any CBAA basketball alumni that possesses a good knowledge of the rules of basketball and is interested in potentially becoming a Junior ref in 2010/11 must attend one of the ref clinics that will be held at Buckingham Elementary School on November 8th and 9th from 8:00 to 9:30 PM.

Field & Courtside Maintenance Day!
November 7, 2010

Come join your fellow CBAA LAX, B-ball and Soccer friends!
In an effort to keep Herbst Field Complex in excellent condition, we are gathering volunteers for a day of field and basketball courtside maintenance and upkeep on Sunday November 7th, from 11:00AM - 4:00PM.
From painting to weed-wacking...there will be a number of ways for people to help on this day. Please plan to be at Herbst on this day and help to maintain our beautiful facility. Many hands will make for a much more productive and manageable day.
We look forward to seeing you at Herbst on Sunday, November 7th and look forward to a productive day.

Elections
Fall has arived and so have our CBAA 2010 Elections.
CBAA provides opportunities to thousands of young people in the Central Bucks areas to play basketball, lacrosse, and soccer at a variety of levels. For CBAA to continue to be successful and grow it needs your support. New ideas, new enthusiasm, and renewed energy come from both new volunteers and long-time supporters.
Elections will be held at the CBAA General Membership meeting scheduled for Thursday, November 4, 2010, 7pm at the Buckingham Township building.
Board positions require no prerequisites except for the chair position, where the candidate must have served a minimum of one year on the CBAA Board. Terms are one year starting in January 2011 and your candidacy is welcomed and encouraged.
