 Fall has arived and so have our CBAA 2010 Elections.
 
 CBAA provides opportunities to
thousands of young people in the Central Bucks areas to play basketball,
lacrosse, and soccer at a variety of levels.  For CBAA to continue to be successful and grow
it needs your support.  New ideas, new
enthusiasm, and renewed energy come from both new volunteers and long-time
supporters.
 
 If you are interested in taking a leadership position in the CBAA organization,
please consider one of the Executive Board positions.  Elections will be held at the CBAA board
meeting scheduled for Tuesday, November 4, 2010 at the Buckingham Township
building. If you are interested in running for one of the Executive Board
positions, please email Becky Barlow at info@playcbaa.com no later than Tuesday, October 5,
2010.
 
 Board positions require no
prerequisites except for the chair position, where the candidate must have
served a minimum of one year on the CBAA Board.  Terms are one year starting in January 2011
and your candidacy is welcomed and encouraged.

 |  | | Who We Are Founded in 
1973, the Central Bucks Athletic Association offers
 recreational and travel soccer, basketball and lacrosse programs to the
 youth of Central Bucks County, PA. CBAA is a non-profit, charitable 
organization. Athletic activities will be organized, funded and coached 
through all volunteer efforts. All monies derived through fees, 
donations or fund raising shall be used to offset expenses associated 
with the conducting and encouraging of sports activities.
 Our Purpose
 The purpose 
of the Central Bucks Athletic Association (CBAA) 
is to provide and encourage sports-related activities to the youth 
between the ages of 6 and 18 in the Central Bucks County community 
(including Buckingham, Doylestown and Plumstead Townships). CBAA will, 
through these sports activities, promote sportsmanlike competition, 
provide training in each sport sponsored, and hence offer a recreational
 alternative to drugs, alcohol and juvenile delinquency.
 Join Us
 All CBAA 
members are invited to come to the CBAA board 
meetings. We welcome your participation, feedback, and suggestions for 
our programs. The board meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30
 PM in the Lahaska Room of the Buckingham Township Building. 
Occasionally the meetings are re-scheduled if a number of board members 
are unavailable or if the Lahaska Room is reserved for some other event.

the scheduled date and time for the meeting you wish to attend.
 Our Philosophy
 CBAA shall 
operate in such a way as to encourage maximum 
participation so that all boys and girls are provided opportunity to 
compete regardless of abilities or talents. Participation in athletic 
events of CBAA will be without regard to race, creed, color, national 
origin, sex or financial status.
