AHMS

Active Home Medical Supply is a small, fully accredited, family owned business based in Lapeer, Michigan. Lori and Terry Sears started out in 1989 because they believed customers deserved better service than what they were getting. As the baby boomers come of age and healthcare systems are stressed, that philosophy is becoming even more important.  They are determined to continue to put compassion for patients first, as they work through all the red tape to get them what they need.

The company provides a wide range of products to make people's lives easier.  This includes orthotics, oxygen, CPAP, both manual and power wheelchairs, walkers, aids to daily living, diabetic supplies, seat lift chairs, products for arthritis and pain relief, and more.

For 22 years Lori and Terry along with their experienced and dedicated staff, have enjoyed helping people by showing them how to select the right products for maximum comfort and independence at home.  With their small retail store and warehouse right here in Lapeer they can offer an even bigger selection.  Customers can see and try many of their products, get a proper fit and take them home the same day. They will also find some great listeners ready to offer solutions to many of the problems aging and illness can bring as well as good old fashioned emotional support when that's what they really need!

Active Home Medical Supply services Lapeer, Macomb, Oakland and Genesee counties as well as parts of Sanilac, St. Clair and Tuscola. They'll deliver locally for free and can often schedule equipment set up during the day or evening! They're on call 24 hours for urgent service.
