Strong Passwords = More Security
"Treat your password like your toothbrush. Don't let anybody else use it, and get a new one every six months." ~ Clifford Stoll
We have all heard of the importance of using strong passwords. Yet when faced with the blinking cursor it is easy to type a short easy to remember password. The long term effects of weak passwords can lead to major headaches down the road.
The best lines of defense are to create strong passwords, change your passwords every 3-6 months, and use different passwords for online banking/email/facebook/etc.
Helpful Tips for Creating Strong Passwords:
Password Length- 8 characters minimum, 10 characters or longer are best
Password Complexity: At least 4 characters in your passwords should be each one of the following:
1. Lower case alphabets
2. Upper case alphabets
3. Numbers
4. Special characters
An easy way to apply these rules is to use a phrase or combine several words.
Example: Blue Skies Today
Becomes: blUsk!3st0dy or BLuSK!3STDY
None of us would give our wallet to a stranger, however each time we create a weak password or reuse the same password for multiple accounts we give attackers easy access to our personal information. Be proactive and start using stronger passwords today.

When was paper money first printed in the U.S.?
The U.S. Department of the Treasury first issued paper U.S. currency in 1862 to make up for the shortage of coins and to finance the Civil War. There was a shortage of coins because people had started hoarding them; the uncertainty caused by the war had made the value of items fluctuate drastically. Because coins were made of gold and silver their value didn't change much, so people wanted to hang onto them rather than buy items that might lose their value.
What denominations of bills were first printed?
The first paper notes were printed in denominations of 1 cent, 5 cents, 25 cents, and 50 cents.
What time is it on the Independence Hall clock on the back of the $100 bill? Though it would be difficult
to tell without a magnifying glass, the hands of the
clock in the steeple of Independence Hall are set
at approximately 4:10.
