| Mural Work Creates a Buzz! |
The wall at 25 Essex Street is changing fast! Essex Gateway Mural panels created by hundreds of community members are being applied to the wall, then blended into a complete image by the artist team--led by James Tafel Shuster (seond from right), with intern Amanda Brack, local artist Jeff Grassie, and artist Josh Shaffner. Mayor Fiorentini welcomed the artists on Monday, and received a framed mural image for his office from Alice Mann and Leota Sarrette. Above the artists' heads, a bit of the two-story image of Kay Green-Byrd is visible. Except when it's raining, the artists expect to be on site from 9 am to 5 pm weekdays. You Can Support Local News |
At Possible Dreams, people often say they need better information about what is going on in Haverhill. An independent local volunteer group called "Haverhill Matters," is asking which news resources people actually use, and how well they feel they are served. You can help by taking the survey and by urging others to take the survey on this site: Haverhill Matters Website
