Promoting School "Green Teams"

Green Team LogoTeam Haverhill volunteers at Haverhill Goes Green last weekend promoted several initiatives, including an expanded bottle bill and the state program that provides resources for school "Green Teams." Teachers and PTO members can help bring recycling resources to our city and schools by getting their own school involved. Contact Mike LaBonte Email or vist the state's Green Team website: Website

Air Force Jazz BandHaverhill's River Ruckus 2011 is scheduled for Saturday, August 20 (rain date Sunday). A fabulous line-up of activities is planned, including an evening performance of the United States Air Force Jazz Band. This promises to be another fabulous concert to lead up to the finale light show. Program books for the day--including coupons for events and dining all summer--will be distributed early in the summer throughout the region. So this promises to be an even bigger and better event than last year. Info
