| Meet and Greet Opportunities This Week with Renowned Muralist Meg Saligman |
Philadelphia-based muralist Meg Saligman is in Haverhill this week to meet with members of our local community about the planned Essex Gateway Mural slated for creation and installation in 2011 on the wall of 25 Essex Street. Don't miss the opportunity to become a part of Haverhill's newest--and largest-scale--public artwork. Meg is both an extraordinary image-maker (just check out her dazzling Website) and an artist with a profound commitment to community involvement in artistic production. Major sponsors, multiple individual donors, and enthusiastic assistant painters will all be needed to bring this stunning project into being. MEET AND GREET OPPORTUNITIES
- Tuesday, November 30th, 5-7 pm at the Essex St. Grille (25 Essex Street). Free hors d'oeurves with cash bar.
- Wednesday, December 1st, 5-7 pm at Lounge 59 (59 Washington Street). Suggested donation of $20 will get you one t-shirt and complimentary hors d'oeurves to accompany the cash bar.
- Thursday, December 2nd, 5-7 pm. Potential sponsors (at all levels) are invited to Hamel Lofts for an opportunity to discuss this project with the artist and the organizers.
