| CFK PLAYERS INVITED TO NATIONAL CAMP...
Two Central Florida Youth Soccer Players Invited to the Under-14 United States Soccer Federation National Identification Camp!!!
Cormac Begley and Cutler Coleman were selected to attend U.S. Soccer's Under 14 Boy's National Identification Camp. They were chosen to be a part of the National Player Pool, which is composed of the best soccer players in the country for their age group. The boy's play locally for the Central Florida Kraze/Krush Soccer Club.
They are teammates on the CFK Kraze '98 Black squad coached by Rob Coleman. Coach Coleman commented, "I am very proud of both Cormac and Cutler and they are well deserved of this invitation. Being selected for the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) National Camp is tremendous achievement." Coach Coleman has coached both players for a number of years and added, "We have constantly pushed, not just Cormac and Cutler, but the whole team and challenged them to be the best they can be. These two individuals are great athletes, outstanding soccer players and fine young men. I am truly delighted that they have received this wonderful recognition."
The players will leave for camp on Saturday, July 31st and will have one week to show the National Coaching Staff their level of play. CFK Executive Director Hue Menzies stated, "I would like to congratulate Cormac and Cutler on being invited to the U14 USA National Camp. They both have worked hard throughout the year and this is such a deserving reward for them. It is such an exciting time for our organization and we all know that both of them will represent our club and the state proudly".

KAREN PHILLIPS NAMED FYSA "PARENT of the YEAR"...
Karen has worked and chaired many volunteer events held previously for Central Florida United (CFU) and now heads up the same programs for the newly formed Central Florida Kraze/Krush (CFK) youth soccer club. She has been doing this for the past eight years and is always willing to step up when something is needed which will benefit the club. Karen heads up Soccer Tournaments, Golf Tournaments, Recreational Tournaments, College Showcases, Community Club Fundraisers, Annual Club Tryouts and Adult League Competition for the club; all the while raising a family and working a job that frequently takes her out of town.
CFK President, Ed Filliben stated, "Karen, hands down, does all of this out of the goodness of her heart. It is plain and simple that she wants to affect young people in a healthy and positive manner in our local soccer community. This is the only reason why she does this, there are no politics or hidden agendas. It is truly a benefit to our club to have someone who is so selfless and willing to help. She is very deserving of this wonderful honor for all of her hard work and dedication".
