Ugh! So, all that success we wrote about on the ZOOZblog (summarized below); it caught up with us.
With thousands and thousands of new ZOOZbeat Musicians joining us since the launch of the new ZOOZbeat and ZOOZbeat Lite Wednesday (10/14), the sudden extra volume of reCreated music/song uploads overwhelmed our servers.
As a result:
- ZOOZbeat was slow rendering songs (sometimes up to two hours) and will continue to be slow today (Saturday 10/17) as we catch up with the song rendering volume
- ZOOZbeat was completely down for a while today
We know how exciting you are to experience the new ZOOZbeat; especially after seeing the ZOOZbeat CNN video, reading the CNN.com story, another media story, review or a friend, etc.
We just wanted to share with you why we've been down today, why song uploads and posting of songs have been slow (and will continue to be slow today) and ask for your patience and understanding while we experience growing pains. We're all committed to creating an awesome musical experience for you.

ZOOZbeat Tops Apple iTunes App Chart;
#40 Overall Paid App; #2 Paid Music App
The new ZOOZbeat Music reCreation Studio (TM) app shot to the top of the Apple iTunes App Store charts Thursday (10/15/09) riding the wave of launch media coverage including major CNN video and CNN.com story coverage of the new ZOOZbeat, ZOOZbeat Lite and all-new ZOOZbeat.com.
In the Apple iTunes App Store, the new ZOOZbeat
was ranked 40 among all paid apps and ranked number 2 among all paid
music apps; all in just one day after the official Wednesday (10/14)
launch. The new ZOOZbeat Lite was ranked number 7 among all free music apps.
Since Wednesday, ZOOZ Mobile has added thousands of new ZOOZbeat Musicians whom have download our iPhone app that includes the new ZOOZbeat Store to buy your music!
By November 30th, ZOOZbeat Musicians will be able to reCreate music with nearly two dozen ZOOZbeat Artists. And, we're in discussion with additional indie and major labor artists.
ZOOZbeat
will dramatically affect how we experience music (interactive)
with our favorite Artists.
