First, if you want to save any of your existing songs when you upgrade to the new ZOOZbeat or ZOOZbeat Lite, please go to myZOOZbeat on your iPhone and create an account and sync all your ZOOZbeat music that is on your mobile iPhone.

In less than a year, we've had more than 1 million downloaded among five different ZOOZbeat apps (Pro, Classic, Rock, Latin and Hip-Hop).
The week of Sept. 28th, three of these ZOOZbeat apps were among the top 100 free music apps in the iTunes Store.
As of today (10/14/09), we have consolidated these five ZOOZbeat apps into two, plus introduce awesome new features.

Sometimes, less is more. We moved to the new ZOOZbeat and ZOOZbeat Lite names to help make it easier for new Musicians to decide which version to get. And, made each version better than the version(s) that it replaces.
Presently, the new ZOOZbeat and ZOOZbeat Lite are available exclusively on Apple iPhone and iPod Touch. (Those that downloaded the Nokia version early in development can still use it, though we are no longer offering a Nokia version.)
While we anticipate added ZOOZbeat and ZOOZbeat Lite apps for other mobile phones, at the moment, we're focused on adding content and features to the ZOOZbeat and ZOOZbeat Lite iPhone and iPod Touch apps.

ZOOZbeat Executives Attend Digital Music
Forum West, Venture Atlanta and Future Media In October
It's time to share ZOOZbeat, your Music reCreation Studio, with music and technology, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and futurist executives too.
ZOOZ Mobile Chief Executive Office Scott Geller will present ZOOZbeat at the Venture Atlanta conference: it's Georgia's premier technology innovation event that brings
together top-tier investors (venture capitalists, bankers, angel
investors) with new, innovative and entrepreneurial technology
companies. The conference is today (10/13/09) and Wednesday. If you're attending, you
may hear Scott say, "Show me the money (please)!"
On Thursday (10/15), ZOOZ Mobile Founder and Chief Technology Officer Gil Weinberg, Scott -- along with Hip-Hop Artists Cato and Ruffus -- will participate in Future Media in Atlanta hosted by Georgia Tech.
On Wednesday, October 7th, Scott participated in a panel (MOBILE APPS: The Next Frontier for the Music Industry?) at Digital Music Forum West.More than 300 of the most influential decision makers in the music industry gathered in Los Angeles for two days of deal-making at this Forum.
Music leaders attending this annual event included: major label execs from Universal, Warner, EMI and SonyBMG. Also attending were top digital executives from MySpace, AOL, Rhapsody, MTV, Topspin, Yahoo!, iLike and more.

ZOOZbeat Musician Cecilia Diaz Offers Piano
Riff Tips for reCreating Music on Your iPhone
The piano riffs in ZOOZbeat reCreated songs such as Winter Complex and Awaken -- and the ones written by the very talented Strato999 (the person whose music inspired me to try composing piano riffs) -- may seem pretty overwhelming and challenging at first. So here are three tips that are certain to take out the complexity of it!
Tip 1: If you can't think of a good melody, try shaking your iPhone for some notes of inspiration. This is how Winter Complex was born. I had no idea what the song was going to sound like. I shook my iPhone and only had to alter a few notes to make it sound the way I wanted it to. Then, I let my imagination compose the rest of the music!
Tip 2: Always keep at least two introductory sequences: even if you plan on deleting them later. Chances are you are going to use the first sequence as a chorus or you may alter it a little for a ending to help it blend into the loop. This is why 'copy and paste' are so wonderful!
Tip 3: Take advantage of the voice recording feature even if you won't publish your voice. While you are composing your song, a great harmony that would blend perfectly might pop into your head. Record yourself humming the tune (so you don't forget it); then, when you find the right notes to match up with the recording, delete the voices sequence. An example of this is in the song Carousel Glitch.
