Early Childhood Encounters

A highlight of this week's Parsha was when the EC- 3 class made their own play-dough jewelry to emulate the jewelry that Rivka was given. As the children made the gooey, sticky batter, Morah Revi cooked up the colorful play-dough shapes and sizes and the children made their own beads out of it. They will use the beads to create their own unique pieces of jewelry. |

Overheard at Torah Academy
Over a dozen women attended the first Tuesday morning shiur taught by Rabbi Baumann this week. The topic, 7 Steps to Discovering Inner Faith, Security and Strength was a huge conversation starter and lead to active and introspective discussion.
"The topic was so interesting and the way that Rabbi Baumann spoke was so inspiring," said Mrs. Rivka Lindenberg.
Rabbi Baumann brought source sheets, including Sefer Chovos HaLevavos - Duties of the Heart, and stories that offered connections to this important value. He challenged the women to engage in meaningful learning about such an integral part of our Torah lives and our ever-growing connection to Hashem.
"Bitachon and a deep realization of our security come from the true quality of our relationship to HaKadosh Baruch Hu," said Rabbi Baumann. Rabbi Baumann will be teaching the 7 Steps course each Tuesday immediately after morning carpool drop-off. All women are invited to attend. |
