Overheard at Torah Academy

Thank you to Mr. Alex Raden for joining the third and fourth grade last week and sharing his wisdom and memories of his experience in the Holocaust. "There is nothing more beautiful for me than seeing Jewish schools and children learning Torah," said Mr. Raden.

5th Graders Go to Disney World

Our graduating classes enjoyed their end-of-the-year trip to Epcot which took place for the 5th grade boys this past week and for the 5th grade girls the week before. The students came back sharing their enthusiasm and appreciation for their trip.

Overheard at Torah Academy

What could be better than a day at Epcot? If you ask the fourth graders they will tell you, "Having Rabbi Cohen as a teacher!" Rabbi Mordechai Cohen is a veteran limudei kodesh teacher with more than 25 years experience in North Miami Beach. Torah Academy has been blessed to have him as a regular substitute teacher for many grades throughout the past three years. "As a teacher I am always happy to be a part of Torah Academy, knowing the love and commitment they have for Ahavat Torah, Ahavat Yisrael and every child," said Rabbi Cohen.

Early Childhood Encounters

Our Kindergarteners are learning about harvesting and planting. They are enjoy the Torah Academy  garden as well as experiencing the importance and value of eating healthy.
