1st Graders Working on their Haggadahs
Rabbi Yachnes's first graders worked diligently on their Haggadahs. They are so excited to use them for the Sederim. "They take such pride in their creations," said Rabbi Yachnes. "It gives them a real voice at the Seder." The first graders also had a treat as Rabbi Baumann joined the class for a review of the Ma Nishtana.

4th and 5th Grade Girls Prepare for the Seder
How many Haggadahs do you have in your home? Many of us have vast collections of Haggadahs full of Divrei Torah for the Seder. This year our fourth and fifth grade girls will be bringing home a very unique addition to their libraries. A book of Divrei Torah was created, researched, written and illustrated by the students themselves. Each girl had a chance to look up, explain, write and illustrate a Dvar Torah for the seder. Additionally, the girls used their math skills while measuring and making a "seder measurement set" to use at home. These cards will help each family fulfill the Mitzvos of the night by eating the right amount of matzah and maror at the seder.

Early Childhood Students Prepare for Pesach
Our youngest students danced and sang while dressed as Moshe and Bnei Yisrael in Mitzrayim. Through movement and song they learned the story of Pesach.
The EC-3 class created Matzah covers and worked with water colors to create original art work. The children were expressing their creativity and imagination through these projects.
Pre-K was found marching through Mitzrayim and toward Har Sinai with bean bags on their heads and singing Pesach songs, as they learned about Bnei Yisrael's journey from Mitzrayim.
