Chanukah Assembly for Elementary School

We were happy to welcome Rabbi Phillip Moskowitz as our guest speaker at our assembly. He shared a Dvar Torah and had the children participating in the humorous and poignant story about Chanukah.

Additionally the third graders, under the direction of Mrs. Engel,  performed a play about the significance of oil and the importance of Chanukah.

Boca Raton Fire Truck Visits Early Childhood

Early Childhood participated in a visit by representatives from the Boca Raton Fire Department. The children learned about fire safety and health-related lessons and had an exciting opportunity to climb aboard the fire truck.

Students Perform at Congregation Ohev Shalom

Rabbi Yachnes continues to inspire not only his students at Torah Academy but the larger Jewish community, as he and many of his second graders and their families shared Chanukah stories and songs with Congregation Ohev Shalom.

"It's always a pleasure to share Chanukah with the children of Torah Academy who, together with Rabbi Yachnes, uplifted and inspired our annual shul Chanukah party," noted Rabbi Yaakov Gibber.

Chanukah Celebrations at Torah Academy

The third graders enjoyed a Chanukah party with Rabbi Englander and his family at his home on Wednesday evening. They shared food, stories, songs and fun!

The fourth and fifth grade boys were excited to share Chanukah with Rabbi Guttman and his family at their home, as well as the outdoors. They enjoyed a Chanukah video, music and games in the Florida winter!

Mrs. Meth and Mrs. Feder took their students on a short tiyul to Mrs. Meth's home for a Chanukah party last Friday. They made latkes and sufganiot and told stories to celebrate Chanukah together!

 Staff Chanukah Party

The staff Chanukah party was a festive and enlightening event as Divrei Torah were shared by Rabbi Baumann and Rabbi Feinberg. It is always a chance to enjoy the holiday and build staff relationships.  A special thank you was given to Mrs. Baumann, Mrs. Feinberg, Mrs. Englander and Mrs. Askotzky for helping to prepare for such a memorable evening.

"It was so wonderful having everyone together at a special occasion," said Rabbi Baumann.
