Golf Tournament and Mega BBQ Was A Wonderful Success

With more than forty-five golfers and over forty more participants in attendance at the dinner barbecue, the event was unforgettable. "We have truly designated the Torah Academy golf tournament as a marquis, first rate, event for the entire community," said Baruch Galbut. Those in attendance included members of the Boca Raton community as well as friends and sponsors from Miami, New York, and even Israel. Everyone who attended had a great time and further solidified their commitments and friendships toward Torah Academy. Special thanks to Dr. Baruch Ringelheim, Rib/ Steak Chairman, and Dr. Baruch Galbut for spending countless hours organizing, planning, and attending to the many behind the scene details. We would like to thank the Golf Committee: Yakov Lyons, Golf Committee Chair, Dr. Hillel Cohen, Dr. Sid Cohen, Todd Cohn, Dr. Danny Ettedgui, Irv Frieberg, Avi Frohlich, Seth Grossman, Dr. Doni Lindenberg, Rabbi Baruch Plotkin, Dr. Zev Raden, Rabbi Josh Spodek, Rabbi Ben Sugerman and Seth Weisel for all their assistance. Thanks to Baruch and Shaul Legerner for help with the Barbecue. We would also like to thank Mrs. Cornelle Selig for all of her help.

Elementary Insights
Rabbi Englander has found a motivating and engaging way to teach his students on Sundays. "Scrap booking is fun, creative and hands on learning," said Rabbi Englander. The students are engaged and active learners. The artistic method of teaching has brought a new energy and is helping to create enthusiastic students. The scrap book contains relevant information on pasukim and the learning, as well as art, writing assignments, and embellishments. "We are proud to show our scrap books to others," said Yisroel Sugerman and Yitzchak Spodek.
