Torah Academy's 11th Anniversary Dinner is March 9th |
We are pleased to announce that Torah Academy of Boca Raton's 11th Anniversary Dinner will take place on Tuesday, March 9th, 2010 at Temple Beth Israel in Deerfield Beach.
We invite you to join us in honoring Rick and Sue Andron, Michael and Cornelle Selig, Rabbi Amir and Gita Guttman and in supporting Torah Academy by placing a tribute in the ad journal. The Annual Dinner is Torah Academy's primary fundraising event and the journal is the key to the campaign's success. The Annual Dinner provides vital funds that enable Torah Academy to provide the finest Jewish and secular education.
We have a growing database of local businesses that need to be solicited for ads and there are many others who are not yet part of the database. Please contact Mrs. Penina Flug at 391-7283 or peninaflug@comcast.net for more information.
For more information on placing a tribute ad in the journal, please contact Rabbi Reuven Feinberg at rfeinberg@torahacademybr.org

Grandparents Day at Torah Academy was huge Success |
The Mitzvah of honoring our Grandparents was fun and easy this past Monday, as the children welcomed their family members to join them for a day at Torah Academy. The grandparents began their day with words of welcome from Rabbi Baumann and Rabbi Feinberg. They joined their grandchildren in creating a family tree project that was meaningful and inspiring for all involved.
The grandparents, parents and special friends came from all over. Some even flew in for this very special day. The grandparents had an opportunity to visit the children's classrooms and meet their Rebbes and teachers.
"The love and warmth that the school has for its students is so evident in the beautiful words of the Rebbes and staff," said Mrs. Sarit Lasry.
A very special thank you goes to Mrs. Alli Zak and the many volunteers who helped make this event such a success. |
| Early Childhood Encounters |
Rosh Chodesh Adar - "Marbim B' Simcha..."
Ushering the new month was filled with music and song as Rabbi Yachnes entertained and engaged the early childhood students with stories and dance. With costumes, laughter and parades around the school, the children are eager to celebrate Purim and share all of their learning. Throughout the past few weeks, each teacher has been focused on sharing the story of Purim and the Mitzvos of the Chag at the children's developmental level. |
