Melave Malka for the Entire Torah Academy Family on October 31
  
We are pleased to invite the entire Torah Academy parent body to a Melave Malka on October 31 at 9:00 PM at the home of Daniel and Sue Kaskel, 7648 Stockton Terrace. All new and returning parents are invited to join us for this wonderful opportunity to meet the many new families, enjoy delicious food, and hear an update of the happenings at Torah Academy. It was our pleasure to welcome Rabbi Akiva Grunblatt, Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim, for a short visit this past Friday to Torah Academy.

Chavrusah learning is an important way for a student to vocalize their knowledge and understanding of a text. Rabbi Englander encourages this style of review for his third graders at least once a week. "It enhances my ability to assess the students individual level and it promotes friendship, mutual respect and encouragement for one another," said Rabbi Englander.

Imaginations and expressions flourish during story time in EC 3."Story time is one of the most creative and engaging moments in the classroom," said Morah Revi. The children are encouraged to browse through both the Judaic and general books in the reading corner. "We also encourage shared  reading on the bean bags for quiet play," she added.

Grandparents Day at Torah Academy
 

This year at Torah Academy we will be having Grandparents Day on Monday, February 15th. All Grandparents and close relatives are invited to attend.

  Sponsor A Day of Learning  at Torah Academy
Sponsor a Day of Learning - honor a friend and loved one with a sponsored day of learning in their memory, for a special occasion or in their merit. A display at Torah Academy on the day sponsored will acknowledge the occasion. Minimum donation is $180. Contact the Torah Academy office for more information.
The Roadmap to Spiritual Greatness- Mesilas Yesharim
 This weekly series taught by Rabbi Reuven Feinberg, will be a step by step exploration of Mesilas Yesharim and enable participants to achieve keen insights into human nature, with goals that will inspire, encourage and challenge us to strive for greatness.
