Torah Academy Visits Anshei Emunah
Anshei EmaunaRabbi Yachnes' second graders became the singing sensations on Thursday, September 9th at Congregation Anshei Emunah in Delray Beach.  With Rabbi Yachnes on guitar and vocals, his students not only entertained the congregants but they inspired them and brought them a new energy for the New Year.
"One man said that he hadn't heard children singing in over thirty years," said Rabbi Yachnes.   A special thank you to Mrs. Michal Marcus for help coordinating the event and to Mrs. Naomi Cohn, Mrs. Sue Kaskel, Mrs. Jordanna Lyons, Mrs. Cornelle Selig, and Mrs. Alli Zak for their assistance.

Meet the Teacher Night

The first Meet the Teachers Night was a success with the contagious  enthusiasm of the teachers and staff. "Parents walked away knowing that their children were in the right place for spiritual and academic growth," said a new Torah Academy parent.
Each teacher gave a curriculum overview.  Mrs. Chaya Tabor spoke enthusiastically about her first and second graders. One hot topic was the differentiated reading instruction. Reading has never been more exciting," said Mrs. Tabor. Still accessing the students, the plan is to begin the book in a bag project right after Sukkos.
