Hello again incoming Parents and returning Parents!

The activity on campus is picking up in preparation to welcome  students next week! 

There's a new story on the Parents Association's website - UNH Online Resources Ease Transition to College for Families - Don't miss it!  Parents can turn their desire to be in constant contact with their students into an ongoing "conversation" about the UNH resources that their sons and daughters can tap into to help them learn to be independent and to make good decisions.   www.unh.edu/parents
 

Is your student is a Commuter or a new Transfer student?  Remind them the Commuter and Transfer Student Survival Day is Thursday, Aug. 25thfrom 1 to 3 pm at the Memorial Union Building.  It's a program designed for ANY NEW student at UNH.  Advance registration is appreciated.  www.unhmub.com/off_campus/index.html

 

Best Back to School advice for new students from fellow students - GET INVOLVED.  There are so many opportunities for students to be involved in an activity outside the classroom - such as being part of the student newspaper, TNH; joining a Campus Rec. Sports Club; joining the UNH Outing Club for great wilderness trips;  joining the Student Senate.  UNH has hundreds of clubs and organizations looking for new members!

The leadership teams from all the student organizations and clubs will be at the University Day Picnic looking to talk with potential new members on Tuesday, Sept. 13th - 3:30 to 6:30 - includes great fun and entertainment!
