Greetings!
Don1
I am looking forward to autumn and cool weather.  It has been extremely hot here in the Southeastern United States.  Fibers may like heat and humidity, but it is hard on the operators and warehouse people.

I have been publishing this newsletter on a weekly basis for 20 months.  It is a labor of love and I do it because there is a need and I enjoy it.  However, unless I can find a way to squeeze 28 hours into every day, I cannot continue on a weekly basis.  If I am going to produce more training materials, I need to free up some time.  Starting today, I will be publishing every other week.  I hope you will train yourself to check the in-box every other week.  The content will basically remain the same.

Have a great week.

Slide Show About Nanofibers
It seems that I continue to come across information about nanofibers.  Here is a slide show you may want to look at.  It is titled "Self-supporting nanofiber mats by electrospinning".  It was presented in May of this year by Laura M. Frazier, PhD
SNS Nano Fiber Technology, LLC

FOCylinder
A piece of equipment common to many fiber systems handling staple fiber is a Fine Opener.  There are several different types, but many consist of simply a set of feed rolls and a cylinder.  Here is the definition and some links.
