| No Term Definition This Week. Here Is a Tutorial Instead. |
Photo credit: http://www.thenonwovensinstitute.com/ | This week I am changing things a bit and offering a tutorial instead of a term. While looking at the home page of NET, I discovered a tutorial about nonwovens from NC State University. This is very good and Dr. Behnam Pourdeyhimi and the staff at NC State are to be commended for putting it on the web.
Anyone new to nonwovens should certainly view this as well as those who seek to broaden their understanding of nonwovens. Even though you are involved in say melt blown nonwovens, you should still have some knowledge of needlepunch or spunlace. It is good to be well rounded in your knowledge. This is especially important for those of you who read this newsletter who are involved in sales.
