| Greetings! |
This e-mail goes out to quite a diverse audience. Though the purpose is to address training, I like to be able to give you something each week that everyone can use. I spend many hours every week on the internet doing research, surfing, and finding out what's new. After a while it is difficult to keep the interesting and important items organized so I can refer to them later. A tool I've found that is really helpful is Evernote. Basically Evernote is a repository for almost anything digital. When you store something, you can classify it and add keywords to make finding it later easy. The basic version is free. It works on the most popular browsers by inserting a button on the tool bar. Click the button, and you can drop a web page into your Evernote page. The data resides on the web in the Evernote servers so it is accessable from any computer connected to the internet. Read this brief article by Walt Mosburg of the Wall Street Journal that explains it very well. Another great aspect of Evernote is that you can capture images on you phone and send them to your Evernote page. You can also e-mail data to your Evernote page.
Have a great week. E-mail Don
