Greetings!
PictureOfDonThis is going to be a busy week.  One of the highlights will be a trip to Charlotte on Tuesday to celebrate with American Truetzschler their 40th anniversary.  I hope some of you will be there and we can visit.

While doing research for this week's newsletter, I visited the Truetzschler web site.  They have an interesting brochure about card wire.  You probably know they have also combined with Erko and Fleissner to offer nonwoven solutions

Have a great week.

RDM Solutions Group

It is always exciting to find new companies springing up to support the nonwovens industry.  I recently linked to someone new on LinkedIn .com.  Looking at his home page I saw that he is working with a company called RDM Solutions Group.  I checked their web site and found that RDM is a new company comprised of several individuals with much experience and expertise in nonwovens.  Please investigate their site, particularly the Our Team link.

Definition of the week - Denier
110 Denier
How much do your employees really know about fiber?  Do they know the difference between synthetic and natural fibers?   Do they know that synthetic fibers can be made with different deniers?  They probably use the word denier without understanding what it means.  Many people think denier means diameter, because the higher the denier, the thicker the fiber is.  This week's definition gives the real meaning of denier.

Thanks for supporting Nonwoven Tools LLC.  Don't forget about our other company Omega Engineered Technologies LLC that does needling and needle board repair.
