Greetings!
PictureOfDonA couple months ago Sandra Levy from Nonwovens Industry magazine called me and wanted to know what I do.  She said she was gathering information for an article for the October issue. I do not know how she heard of Omega and Nonwoven Tools, but the October issue just came out and there I am on page 42.  If you get a chance, read the article.
The October issue is not yet on their web site so I cannot insert a link to the article.  As soon as it is available, I will put a link on the Quick Links section of this newsletter.  Thanks Nonwoven Industry.
E-mail Purpose
Nonwoven Tools LLC is dedicated to providing training for production floor employees in the nonwoven industry.  This e-mail is being sent to you to provide you every week with training materials you can use.  Please refer others in your organization to us.  Forward this e-mail to them and remind them to click on the "Join Our Mailing List" link.  Thanks

Dfinition for the Week - Gearbox
Hand Card
For those who have been reading these newsletters and looking at the definitions for some time, you may wonder how I come up with the term to define.  I will be honest.  Most of the time it depends on what photos I am able to take and what I have been doing in the past week.  Last week I was working on a card and it hit me that a new employee would have no clue as to what a hand card is. Download the pdf and you can show them.

Journal of Engineered Fibers and Fabrics
INDA  publishes a Journal of Engineered Fibers and Fabrics.  It is quite technical and not an easy read.  However, it is on the cutting edge of our industry and you may be able to learn something, and get some ideas for further study.  They just put out a new issue.  Check it out at

Thanks for supporting Nonwoven Tools LLC.  Don't forget about our other company Omega Engineered Technologies LLC that does needling and needle board repair.
