Please come join us at our Fraser Valley Sports Complex for the FREE Lance Gutersohn Fourth of July Celebration.
A fun, free, family event with Inflatables, carnival games, field day games, face painting, live music.  Enjoy BBQ

Thursday, July 1, 2010 - Opening Reception, Member Show
An opening reception will be held at the Pole Creek Golf Course Clubhouse from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Appetizers and a cash bar will be available. The show will hang at the clubhouse until Sunday, July 18th.  For more information on entering the show, please see the "Member Show" page.
JUNE & JULY FITNESS / GYMNASTIC CALENDARS
SUMMER GYMNASTICS & TRAMP
New this summer we are offering drop-in attendance to our gymnastic and beginner tramp programs (excluding competitive levels).  So if you are in town on vacation or are a local with a crazy summer schedule, we invite your children to join us when they can!  Drop-in fee is $10 a class.  We do encourage pre-registration to make sure the class is not full. SUMMER TENNIS

For beginners in the sport of tennis. We will work on exercises that help develop hand-eye coordination as well as learn about the forehand, backhand, volley, scoring and the serve. Racquets are available.

Tennis-USTA
NJTL (National Junior Tennis League) This class is designed for players that are ready to play points and learn strategies of the game. Our goal is to create and maintain interest in a sport that can provide a lifetime of enjoyment. The United States Tennis Association a is nationwide, community based public recreation tennis program for boys and girls.

SUMMER ART - JUNE
Australian Art
Learn the history and culture of Australia through art. We will learn Australian Art techniques by creating our own X-ray and dot paintings, bark paintings, and dream maps. Supplies included.

Adult Pottery Summer

This class provides a variety of pottery experience and encourages you to develop your creativity. Throw on the wheel and use various hand, glazing & decorative techniques. Experienced and beginner potters welcome.

Playful Penguin Summer Camps
Let your child revel in the simple joys of summer with Marcy Tabar. Children will meet in the Playful Penquin Room at the Grand park Community Center. They will enjoy outdoor play, short exploratory walks, arts & crafts, and story time. Each week the classes will be based on a fun new theme. This program is open to potty trained children ages 3-5. We also realize that sometimes it is hard to commit to month long program so we are offering a daily drop-in to this program of $15.  Please pre-register so we can have enough supplies on hand.  (970) 726-8968 ext. 0

Summer Skateboarding
Visit Skateparks all over Colorado! Experience new skate parks and different terrain every Wednesay throughout the Summer. These trips are open to skaters ages 8,teens are encouraged! Required equipment includes skateboard, elbow and wrist guards, knee pads and skate helmet (bike helmets are NOT acceptable). Please bring water, lunch and a snack. Red Cross Babysitting Training
Do you want to earn extra money this summer by babysitting? This class will prepare you with the necessary skills to be a qualified babysitter. This training shows you how to respond to emergencies and recognize safety issues that you might face with pre-school and younger children.
