This year's theme is Natural Systems/Emergent Forms and will run from September 14th until October 14th. The event will be located at the Offices of Suyama Peterson Deguchi!

July 6th, 2012 - Art Deco Tour Revisit the roaring 1920's and learn how technology, archeology, and French design innovations influenced the construction of impressive buildings in Seattle and learn why the era of Art Deco architecture was so brief.
July 6th, 2012 - Greatest Hits Tour It's a new riff on the city as we focus on the construction, context, and culture which shaped our fair skyline - from golden oldies like Kirtland Cutter's Rainier Club to popular favorites like the Rem Koolhaas' asymmetric, cantilevered Central Library.
July 7th, 2012 - Architecture 101 Tour Is God really in the details? Find out as we focus on the design elements of Seattle buildings ranging from English Gothic to Brutalism and from Beaux Arts to Modernism.

Waterfront into Focus - All are Welcome on July 12
Join the City of Seattle's Waterfront Seattle project and our community partners as we celebrate a new milestone in our waterfront's history. Thanks to the efforts of many people, the waterfront conceptual design has come into focus. On July 12, bring friends and family to see what's next for our great waterfront and how our community will make it happen.
Event will be from 5:30 - 8:30 pm at Seattle Center's Exhibition Hall, doors at Mercer Street and 3rd Avenue North. Free and open to the public, please RSVP to: july12@waterfrontseattle.org.

Join Kevin Spence AIA and Arlene Kisiel-Jermann AIA at Siematic Seattle for an information-packed seminar on the basics of design and construction including budget advice, tips for hiring the right contractor, what to expect, and how you and your designer can work together to make the most of any project. This will be an interactive workshop so be sure to bring your "napkin sketch!"
