Be an architect for a day. Young architects work with their family to build a model and create a community together. Your young architect must be accompanied by an adult, but no fee is charged for the adult. If you need assistance with the workshop fee, please contact Dan Mahle, Program Director, about a Carolyn Purser Scholarship.

The purpose of ART GENERATION is to cultivate the creative intelligence of youth in the greater Seattle area by engaging them in a variety of artistic mediums and providing the tools, inspiration and support they need to make creative expression a sustainable part of their whole lives. ART GENERATION is designed for middle and high school students, ages 13-18. Our first event will focus on learning to express the 'story of self' in a variety of different artistic mediums.
InbeTWEEN: Portable Shelters

Our InbeTWEEN events are designed for students (ages 11-16) who are interested in exploring architecture and design. Students are given a social issue to solve through design. In teams, students work with design professionals to investigate, plan and build a model that represents their solution. At this event, students will design and build a mock-up demonstration of an easily packable and movable single person shelter.
