There are lots of ways to enjoy this last week of October from Halloween events to shopping! If you haven't already, check out the Autumn issue online and via our flip book!

The Rocky Horror Show wraps up this weekend at Raue Center in Crystal Lake, including a special Saturday midnight show - dress up and play along! 

 

Experience Terror on the Railroad and Trick or Treat Trolley at Illinois Railway Museum in Union this weekend.   

Girl Scout Family Fun Day at the Mary Ann Beebe Center in Harvard Saturday will feature face painting, crackle nail polish exhibition, 250 autumn-themed cupcakes, haunted camp trails, trick or treating, games and a costume party!

  

Saturday, check out Halloween Walks in Downtown Cary and Fox River Grove hosted by the Cary Grove Chamber. 

 

There are two great Woodstock shows Saturday. First is "Dracula" as told by Megan Wells at Stage Left Cafe and later is "Young Frankenstein" at Woodstock Theatre.    

 

Halloween Handout in Downtown Crystal Lake takes place on Monday where articipating merchants open their doors to costumed children.

Tonight is a Wine Tasting at Green Box Boutique in Woodstock.

   

Duke's in Crystal Lake has a great Halloween weekend lineup: Friday is Scary-Oke at Duke's (costume contest); Saturday is Barefoot Fred (no cover with costume); and Sunday is"Don't Get Duked" (prizes and more).  

  

Friday at Grand Geneva in Lake Geneva is Red Rockin Pianos - and Saturday, celebrate
Oktoberfest at the resort!

  

Mark your calendars for a special  Wine & Cheese Tasting next Thursday at 31 North in McHenry to help benefit Family Alliance.

Saturday, Saucony Hosted Fun Run and Talk 'n Walk at The Running Depot in Crystal Lake will feature a discussion about "Visipro" apparel - a fabulous material that keeps runners visible and safe! Also check out Hattori samples - the perfect recovery shoe. Coffee, bagels and snacks to be provided.

Friday, check out the Immanuel Lutheran Trunk or Treat event in Crystal Lake.    

 

Friday, stop by Steffan's 65th Anniversary Party for  cocktails and hors d'oeuvres; meet purse designer Debbie Brooks; view the Hearts on Fire collection; and enjoy special savings.    

 

Saturday is the Holiday Vendor Fair at the Hampton Inn in McHenry to benefit Albums of Hope.
