Tomorrow through the 17th, celebrate McHenry's 175 birthday at Fiesta Days! This annual 10-day event includes music, food, drinks, amusement rides, games, parades, fireworks and more. Steffan's Jewelers has teamed up with the McHenry Chamber of Commerce to celebrate the city's birthday by giving away a specially designed diamond ring valued at more than $4,000 on Sunday, July 10 during the festival.
Rockin' Rotary Ribfest in Lake in the Hills kicks off today - try barbecue from some of the best ribbers in the country and enjoy entertainment for the whole family!
he Northern Illinois Quilt Fest continues with exhibits and events. Saturday, learn "How to Plant a Quilt Garden" at Countryside in Crystal Lake.
Saturday is the Patriotic Pub Crawl in downtown Crystal Lake to benefit Adult & Child Therapy Services.

McHenry County Master Gardeners' Garden Walk on Saturday features a demonstration garden and unique, private gardens clustered in southern McHenry County.
