Tomorrow, Steffan's Jewelers in McHenry will be fundraising on behalf of McHenry's Pioneer Center for Human Services during Ladies' Day event held at the store. It's a chance to mingle, shop, snack, make a wishlist and help a great cause! And who knows, your piece of cake might just have a diamond hidden in it!

Start your holiday shopping early Friday at the annual Treasure And Trimmings Annual Client Craft Show at Pioneer Center. Each division will be represented with festive offerings.

Special Olympics training, wheelchair-accessible buses and day camp scholarships for local children with disabilities will benefit from the 15th Annual NISRA Foundation Holiday Fashion Show & Christmas Tree Raffle Saturday at the Holiday Inn in Crystal Lake.

The Arts
Sclayraueaturday, "Holidays at the White House, a Discussion with Thomas Jefferson & Theodore Roosevelt" featuring Clay Jenkinson and WGN's John Williams at Raue Center is a must-see. Tonight, Read Between The Lynes on the Woodstock Square will host author Heather Sellers for a reading, discussion, and signing of her book, "You Don't Look Like Anyone I Know."

The acclaimed musical "The Mystery Of Edwin Drood" finishes its run at the Woodstock Opera House on Friday through Sunday.

Saturday and Sunday, take the family to Woodstock to see "The Christmas Runaway" - an original one-act musical written by Crystal Lake resident and Fluff Christian Musical Theater Artistic Director Daniel Patfield.
