Family Fun
The Family Cruise Night Friday at Bright Horizons Child Care and Early Education
(290 Memorial Ct. in Crystal Lake) will feature an oudoor movie, family activities, car show, refreshments, Monkey Joe, raffles and more. Saturday and Sunday, Robin F. Pendergrast Photography is offering
free holiday portrait sitting for the entire family - even the dog - at Tree Classics (22102 Pepper Rd., Suite 101 in Lake Barrington).  The 33rd Annual Cider Festival Sunday at the McHenry County Historical Society in Union will feature music,
harvest demonstrations, apple goodies bakery, kettle korn, and food and antique vendors. The Arts
Theatre on the Green Co. of Young Actors presents the silly comedy,
"The Dracula Kidds" Friday through Sunday. Kids 5 and under free. Kids
attending in costume will receive treats (no tricks!).
Be sure to check out First Friday Gallery Night at Lakeside Legacy Arts Park in Crystal Lake - featuring art, appetizers, wine and beverages!  Saturday, The McHenry County Historical Barn Preservation Association is hosting its 7th Annual McHenry County Barn Tour - an all-day event where three coach
buses venture in to McHenry County's countryside to see the magnificent
barns of our county. Read our Barn Tour story! Food & SpiritsFridays and Saturdays in October are Oktoberfest
at Deeter's in Woodstock! Enjoy a special menu and sing along to
authentic German music with Fredl & Hanne Lore. Plus - are you
ready for a boot of beer?!
