And Helping Paws Animal Shelter in Woodstock will be observing National Homeless Pet Day on Saturday while recognizing that every day many pets are homeless. They encourage pet owners to spay and neuter all pets, and anyone who would like to become a guardian of a pet should visit a local shelter.
