Many people automatically associate Planned Parenthood with abortion. It's appropriate; they are the nation's leading abortion provider. However, there's a lot more to Planned Parenthood than just abortions. Learn how Planned Parenthood has been caught promoting violence against pro-lifers, protecting statutory rapists and more. Josh will even show documented proof that Planned Parenthood sells body parts of the babies they abort. You'll also learn about some common misconceptions many pro-lifers have about Planned Parenthood's agenda in the African-American community.

Making a Difference for Life Through Gracious Debates

 I recently started debating the abortion issue on the website, Debate.org. This website seems to be well set up for this, both in the design, functionality, and the voting system. They've had some great pro-choice debaters on there for years, but not many well-read pro-life debaters. If you want to take your understanding of the pro-life position to the next level, these debates would be very helpful to you.
I started by entering my first public abortion debate. I ended up doing so well that my opponent quit halfway through the debate. The debate has been read 1,173 times! - Received this message: "I'd like to compliment you on the calm and factual way that you argue the pro-life stance. I use to argue on another message board site, but it wasn't much of a debate. I was referred to as a militant pro-lifer. After reading some your responses, I'm inclined to agree with them. Your approach seems to be much more effective, and I thank you for what you do. Take care." ~Clayton.
- Received these comments: "Man, you are an amazing human being. I am currently on the fence about the issue and having been really struggling to find a rational pro-life argument. I really enjoy the way you analyze the situation, and the way you attempt to leave religion out of the argument. It's great to see you on this site, and because of your presence I have gone and watched a lot of your podcasts. I am currently leaning towards pro-choice, but I will keep on looking into the issue. If you could suggest some other sources for good pro-life arguments, I would appreciate it." ~Will (I immediately sent him more pro-life resources.)

Next, I entered public debate #3, on whether human life begins at conception. I won by a 29:1 margin! The debate has been read 1,126 times! - "Josh wins this debate hands down. Con's major argument was based on the hierarchy of life, which Josh demonstrated to be irrelevant because there are unicellular organisms, one of which is the zygote. Josh easily fulfilled burden of proof and was largely uncontested." ~Derek
I think this shows that pro-lifers can make a difference in online interactions if they properly communicate the pro-life position.

NEW: Check Out Pro-Life Link Parties!

 We've just created a new section of our website called "link parties." Every Monday we will host a link party on a chosen topic, like "Roe vs Wade" or "stem cell research," and pro-life bloggers will set up links to their best work on that topic. So you can see the topic and say, "I'd like to learn more about stem cell research today," and see some great content from the best of the pro-life blog world on that topic!
