40 Days for Life: Join Us This Monday!

 Can you believe it?
It's already Day 16 of our second annual 40 Days for Life campaign, and things are going amazingly well!
People of faith and conscience from Madera and Mendota to Porterville and Pixley have gathered every day from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM in front of Fresno's Planned Parenthood abortion facility to pray for the unborn. We've already seen multiple lives saved, and we're just getting started!
As we celebrate our victories so far and invite even more people to participate, please join us for our Day 20 rally to mark the mid-point of this year's campaign! We will gather at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Fresno on Monday, October 12th at 7:00 PM. There will be light refreshments, encouraging stories, and exciting news about the rest of this year's campaign. (Please RSVP so we make sure to bring enough food!)

Busting Myths About Abortion & Health Care Reform

 I've been watching a lot of Mythbusters episodes lately. I love this show, because it's entertaining, I've already heard a lot of the myths they feature, and most importantly, I want to know the facts at the end. So today I get to play Adam Savage for a day and bust some myths about abortion and health care reform. After spending hours and hours of dedicated research looking at what has been said by many pro-life and pro-abortion-choice organizations, as well as more independent groups like FactCheck and Politifact, I've found a few myths commonly heard in this debate to bust.

RLCC YouTube Video Gets 100,000 Views!
|
Right to Life of Central California's "Science Matters" is a series of videos b eing created by our own Josh Brahm, an expert on stem cell research. These videos, distributed primarily on the popular site Youtube.com, present pro-science arguments for using Adult Stem Cell Research and iPS Cell technology instead of Human Embryonic Stem Cell Research. The "Science Matters" videos show that scientific facts are on the pro-life side of things, not the other way around.
Our very first video was entitled "Dr. Oz to Oprah and Michael J Fox: 'The stem cell debate is dead.'" This video went viral within a week, and just passed the 100,000 view mark! If you haven't seen it yet, check it out, and watch the other three Science Matters videos! We'll be making more soon...

|  The Walk for Life Central Coast will be taking place in San Luis Obispo on Saturday, October 24th. Their goal is to demonstrate a commitment to the sanctity of human life in a positive and moving manner worthy of the gravity of this issue.Guest speakers will include Gianna Jessen and Rev.
