End of the Year News and Information
Christmas Drop-In: Tuesday, December 13, 11:30am-2:00pm at the presbytery office. All in the presbytery are invited to join us for this annual event.... Pass this information along to your congregation!
Christmas Holiday Office Hours: The presbytery will close at noon on Thursday, December 22 and basically be closed through January 2, 2012. We may be in and out as needed, but everyone should definitely either call ahead to make sure someone is there or have scheduled an appointment.
 Deadlines: The books close for the presbytery on Friday, January 6, 2012. All monies to be included in the 2011 giving must be received by then and all checks must be dated by December 31, 2011

End of the Year Reports and Deadlines:
Statistical Report and Clerk's Questionnaire
There is also an online option to input the Statistical Report:
- Visit: http://oga.pcsua.org/stats where you can go to download the information and input your data.
- Passwords have been changed and you need to add an "!" at the end of the previous year's password.
- Beginning December 9, 2011, Clerks can begin inputting data.
- The deadline is February 22, 2012.
The deadline for the Letters of Intent and Terms of Call is January 25, 2012. |

 Kansas City, MO, February 23-25, 2012
From Stumbling Blocks to Building Blocks of
Faith Conference will take place in Kansas City, MO February 23-25. This event is sponsored by the PCUSA and the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Participants will explore how best to respond to the needs and gifts of children. Presenters include: Dianna Wright, Rita Nakashima Brock, and Shannon Daley-Harris.

Keynoters Katie and Mason Todd will lead us in a worship-filled weekend as we explore what it means to be a worshipful people. Music will be led by Turner Merritt, and ReCreation will be led by our very own Youth Council members!

Financial Aid for Studies:
National Presbyterian College Scholarship Program
 All across the PCUSA young people are taking up the challenge of exploring what God is calling them to be. The National Presbyterian College Scholarship Program is helping to grow the next generation of leaders for the church and community. This scholarship program, administered through Financial Aid for Studies, a ministry of the Office of Vocation, offers need-based scholarship assistance to full time students entering their first year of college at one of the colleges related to the PCUSA.

Vacation Bible School Curricula Preview
 Mark your calendars for January 23 - 26. Come preview and evaluate three 2012 VBS curricula- No Friend Like Jesus: Get Connected ; Clean Water for All God's Children; and Operation Overboard: Dare to Go Deep with God!. The presbytery office is open from 9:00am - 5:00pm. Come whenever you like and stay as long as you like! Come alone or bring friends! If you can't make it during regular office hours, contact Pie to make arrangements to meet after hours. |
