Happy Holidays! The year is almost over and what a year it was! As many of you know, I am now a few months in to my 2nd year as Executive Director of CSNC and have learned quickly that animal welfare is a never-ending challenge that can be tiring, difficult, and at times, all consuming...but there is so much joy and reward in our work as well!

The bright spots are the 4000 companion animals we have provided quality, low cost spay/neuter services for this year, the many surgeries we have subsidized for pet owners in dire financial need, the life-saving, emergency spay surgeries we have provided, and the tens of thousands of unwanted births we have prevented in 2010 alone...

The animal overpopulation crisis is still very real and present but work goes on and progress is still being made on every front.

I want to express to each and every one of you how grateful we are for all of your support. Our dedicated, hard working staff & volunteers, generous donors, rescue and shelter partners, and spay/neuter advocates from all over SW Florida, thank you so much for all that you do for CSNC and all pets in our community!

We've accomplished so much in 2010, but I know 2011 has so much in store for our organization and animal welfare in SW Florida.  Lets continue to work towards our goal of ending pet overpopulation, we can do this! Thousands of pets are counting on us!

Have a wonderful holiday season, and we look forward to working with you in the coming year!

Sincerely,
Pallas Diaz
