34 Miles <> St Simons Island, GA
A bit wiser, a lot more humble... and definitely STOKED as ever!
The first attempt, March 26th, ended at mile 27. (See more here) We left a little blood, a lot of sweat, and even a few tears out there in the marsh. The naysayers have said their nay and had their day, but we WILL do this. Want to join us?

- Race or displacement hull, cruiser-type SUP's only required (except on the shorter 5-mile leg from boatyard to Morningstar Marina. Departure for that leg, approx. 11am. Allow 2-3 hours)
- Join us for one or more legs: 5, 12, or 17 miles, or the whole 34 mile thing! (e-mail Chuck for more info)
- 5 mile (2-3 hours): East Beach (Surf Sailors boatyard) to Morningstar Marina -- departs 11am
- 12 mile (4-6 hrs): Hampton Marina to East Beach -- departs at dawn
- 17 mile (6-7 hrs): Morningstar Marina to Hampton Marina -- departs 1:30pm (approx)
- Rest, food, water and other support in route. Allow 12- 15 hrs for complete trip.
- Dawn departure at Hampton Marina on north center of St Simons for complete trip (or 12 mile leg.)
- Fair weather only!!!! <> Rain or winds 15mph+ may abort the mission.
- Participant fee -- $30/complete tour - or - $20/one or two legs only (covers expenses of support boat and personnel, food, ..and the T-SHIRT for any and all participants!)
