Description:
This workshop is the most comprehensive approach to the G6-12 Rubric offered by QM. This rigorous workshop covers all elements of the Grades 6-12 Rubric and its use in evaluating online courses. This course discusses the underlying rationale for each standard and provides hands on experience. This workshop is appropriate for teachers, instructional designers, administrators and regulators who wish to understand more about research supported best practices and mandates required by state and local governments.

The Quality Matters Program collaborated with a leading provider of online courses for students in grades 6 to 12, the Florida Virtual School (FLVS). The G6-12 Rubric has been created to address the need for a set of standards that is specific enough to guide the development, enhancement, and evaluation of online and blended courses for middle and high school students.
