Bring your chairs, blankets, and snacks on Saturday, May 12 from 7-9 pm to experience local performing artists "under the stars" at the St. Marys Waterfront Park.  The performance is free of charge and this week's performance will be Jerry Lee's All Star Band.

Registration for the Camden Summer Theatre will end Friday, May 11 or when the camp is filled.  Third grade students or higher are invited to register for the four week session which will meet daily from 8:30 until noon.  There will be a two week camp for younger students.  Productions will include Annie, Jr. and Fiddler on the Roof.  For more information call Dean Slusser at 912-729-7463.

100 years old and still going strong!  Come be a part of the excitement this summer during Camden County's Girl Scout Day Camp. The camp is the week of June 4 -8 from 9:00-12:30 pm. The theme is Girl Scouts through the years. Campers will take a look back into the past and explore Girl Scouting from its beginning to modern day. Each day will cover

two decades in order to span the entire century. There will be arts, crafts, badge work and S.T.E.M. (Science Technology Engineering and Math)

activities. The cost is $30 per registered Girl Scout and $42 for

non-registered girls. Lunch will be provided and a camp t-shirt! Please

Coastal photographer, Melissa Herndon, is familiar with the beauties of our area. Born and raised on the coast of Georgia she grew up with an appreciation for the variety of wildlife and other beauties which she has recently begun capturing with her camera. Some of her favorite shots are now being displayed through May at Olde Towne Gallery in downtown St. Marys at 304 Osborne St. next to Cedar Oak Cafe. The gallery is open daily from 8-3 p.m.
