Art and Music Stroll

Summer Theatre & Hairspray
Registration for the Camden Summer Theatre will end Friday, May 11 or when the camp is filled. Third grade students or higher are invited to register for the four week session which will meet daily from 8:30 until noon. There will be a two week camp for younger students. Tickets are now on sale for "Hairspray", the spring musical and final show in the 2011-2012 theatre season. Hairspray, the hit Broadway musical, will run April 26-29 at the CCHS auditorium. Evening performances begin at 7 pm nightly and there will be a 2 pm matinee on Sunday. Advance tickets are available at CCHS, Sheila's Hallmark or the Tribune & Georgian, both in St. Marys. Love for a Family Benefit Concert
Grammy nominated singer/song writer Diana Trask is coming out of retirement to perform on stage for the first time in the US in over 25 years. Diana retired from the music industry in 1985 after performing with Frank Sinatra, Mitch Miller, Bob Hope and almost every country star from Johnny Cash to Roy Clark. "Love for a Family" is a benefit to help Carrie Casey and Joe Proffitt rebuild their lives after a fire took their home and beloved pet Chino. Come to Theatre by the Trax on May 11 when Diana Trask, K-Bay's Randy Horn and First Coast News Patty Crosby present music, magic and fun for this community benefit! 2nd Annual City vs. City Charity Softball Game
St. Marys will again participate in the City vs. City charity softball game on Saturday, June 30th to benefit The Miracle League of Camden County. This year will be bigger and better as several cities will compete for the coveted trophy. More cities mean more fun, more laughs, tons of tailgating and more for The Miracle League of Camden County. Step up to the plate and help St. Marys answer the call from The Miracle League of Camden County. Earth Month 2012
On the Green will be hosting an Earth Month event on Saturday April 28th, from 9-4 pm to raise funds to support clean waterways! This year's campaign is "Kids Need Clean Water". There will be services to choose from for a $25 donation, Recycled Art available for donations, including a "Snail" created by Max Rogers, "What Clean Water Means to Me" posters designed by students from St. Marys Elementary School available for donations, and more! All remaining art will be auctioned between 2 and 3 pm. 100% of funds raised during the event will be donated to a local Earth Month Partner, the "Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper". New Classes Forming
The staff at Salon Ella Par is happy to announce Infant Massage Classes! Learn to massage your baby in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere! Infant massage is taught to new or expectant parents as a way of promoting attachment and sensitivity to a baby's cues, all the while enhancing development. Classes are suitable for babies 2 weeks through pre-crawling. Babies are welcome and encouraged to be brought to class so that parents can practice the techniques right on the baby. If a baby is unavailable, a simulation (doll) can be used. The class is $30.00 and will be held Thursday, May 3rd at 6:30 pm. Seating is limited so please call to reserve your space. (912) 576-3525

Casting Call
Lisa Allen's Dance Works presents "Love Disney" a musical theatre camp; a special two week workshop, (June 18-22 and 25-29, 2012 from 9 am to 1 pm), featuring numbers from Disney in partnership with Dina Barone's Vocal Studio, the Friese Studio of Music and the St. Marys Little Theatre.
