Increase Revenue Through Online Media
The St. Marys DDA, SBDC, Camden County Chamber of Commerce and the local SCORE branch will be hosting a seminar on March 8th at 5:30 pm in downtown St. Marys.  The interactive panel of business owners will discuss small business and online media use, managing social media websites, and much more!  This NO FEE seminar will fill up soon so visit http://www.chamberorganizer.com/members/evr/reg_event.php?orgcode=CAMD&evid=10176495 or call 912-729-5840 for more information.    
Georgia-Florida Renewable Energy Expo
Various speakers will be onGFREE hand to discuss different types of renewable energy.  This event will be held at the College of Coastal Georgia, Camden Center on Thursday, March 22nd 9-5 pm.  Visit:   www.caes.uga.edu/extension/camden/anr/index.html to register or call 912-882-8111.  
Chocolate For Charitieschoc for charities

On Saturday, March 31, at 1 pm the St. Marys DDA and the Osprey Cove Women's Club will Co-sponsor Chocolate for Charities at the St. Mary's Presbyterian Church Social Hall.  Admission is $3 and the ticket includes a "take-out" carton filled with treats along with a chance to win a door prize.  Along with cakes, pies, cookies, and candy there will be handmade crafts to complete your Easter basket.  All proceeds will go to several Camden County charities.  For more info contact Judy at jgalligan@tds.net.

If you loved The Drifters, or if you missed The Drifters (when they were in St. Marys recently), here's another fantastic chance to re-live the great songs of the 60s. Be sure to get your tickets early for the fabulous group who holds two of the top 50 most popular recordings ever in the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame--The Crystals! The Crystals will take you back with Da Doo Ron Ron, Chapel of Love, And Then he Kissed Me, One Fine Day and more. Because of the early sell out for The Drifters, The Crystals are scheduled for two performances on April 14 at 6 pm and 9 pm. Tickets will be available March 15 at the St. Marys Welcome Center, Once Upon a Bookseller, On the Green Salon, and St. Marys Seafood & More.  SO SAVE THE DATE!

River Cleanup  earthkeepers logo
Please join the St. Marys EarthKeepers at the annual River Cleanup on Saturday, March 17 at the Waterfront Park in St. Marys starting at 8:00 am.  They will be cleaning up Downtown St. Marys. Afterward, there will be a celebration picnic (around noon) at Traders Hill in Folkston (off Hwy 121 going south out of Folkston). Please join this annual event and help make a difference. Wear comfortable clothing, bring bug spray (for yourself) and drinking water. They will have bags and gloves. For more information call 912-729-1103. 
7th Annual Runabout in the Royal District  
Purchase your tickets for the 2012 car show scheduled for Saturday, March 17th.  Events include 50/50 Raffle, Live Entertainment, Door Prizes and more.  Proceeds will benefit Lighthorse Learning Center, (Therapeutic Riding for people with Mental Health & Physical Disabilities), in St. Marys.  For more info call 912-729-2848.     
River of Life

Tickets are now on sale for the upcoming performances of "River of Life" an original musical depicting the history of Coastal Georgia.  Performances will be on March 30, 31, April 6, 7 and 8 all at Theatre by the Trax (1100 Osborne Road).  Tickets can be purchased at the St. Marys Welcome Center and Kingsland City Hall.  For more information call 912-729-1103.

The St. Downtown Development Authority (DDA) avails their new Facade Grant program.  This program is available for businesses located in the DDA boundaries and is designed to encourage the renovation and rehabilitation of commercial structures within the DDA boundaries.  Click here for more information call 912-882-8111.
