Georgia-Florida Renewable Energy Expo
Various speakers will be onGFREE hand to discuss different types of renewable energy.  This event will be held at the College of Coastal Georgia, Camden Center on Thursday, March 22nd 9-5 pm.  Visit:   www.caes.uga.edu/extension/camden/anr/index.html to register or call 912-882-8111.  
Second Show Added for the Drifters!drifters
Due to an early sellout of The Drifters Star Spectacular Show in St. Marys, a second performance at Theatre by the Trax has been added.  Tickets are now available for a 6:00 pm performance on Saturday, February 4th and can be purchased at the St. Marys Welcome Center, 111 Osborne Street in St. Marys.  For more information call 912-552-5559.  
The True Freedom Learning Center (TFLC) Baseball Academybaseball
The TFLC Baseball Academy is a free of charge program designed for children ages 6-12 and focuses on physical, spiritual and social growth.   The academy begins January 28th from 12 noon until 2 pm.  For more information contact Neil at 229-220-1254 or visit www.truefreedomlearningcenter.com. 
Social Media and Your Business
The St. Marys DDA, SBDC, Camden County Chamber of Commerce and the local SCORE branch will be hosting a seminar on February 9th at 5:30 pm in downtown St. Marys highlighting social media.  The speaker, Marjorie Young, will teach the importance of blogs, Facebook, YouTube, etc., and guests will learn how to increase their visibility and credibility online and much more.  This NO FEE seminar will fill up soon so visit http://www.chamberorganizer.com/members/evr/reg_event.php?orgcode=CAMD&evid=9874661 to register or call 912-729-5840 for more information.

This community event for fathers and daughters of all ages is planned for February 4th from 7 - 9 pm at Southern Junction (600 W. Finley St.).  Tickets are $5 per ticket, (limited availability), and are available at Kings Bay Flowers and Ameris Bank (the St. Marys branch).  Light refreshments will be provided.  For more information call Chare at 229-834-8207.  
Calling All Actors!theater by trax
The St. Marys Little Theatre will be presenting "River of Life", an original musical based on the history of St. Marys in this coming March.  If you are interested in getting involved either as a performer or volunteer, come to the audition on Saturday, January 28th at 11 am at Theatre by the Trax (1100 Osborne Road).  For more information call 912-729-1103.  
18th Annual Mardi Gras Festival & Paradeall that jazz
This year's festival dated February 18th, is themed "All That Jazz!" and will feature decorated floats and impressive costumes in the parade at 10 am, The Great Camden County Chili Cook-Off, all day entertainment, Pet Costume Parade and the special Mardi Gras Ball at 7 pm.  This event has earned the Southern Tourism Society's designation of "Top 20 Event" so you will not want to miss it!  For more information call 912-882-4000.

The War of 1812 comes alive at Orange Hall on Saturday, February 18th during the Mardi Gras celebration.  Come to Orange hall to learn about the war that raged from 1812 to 1815 and the part that St. Marys played in it.  This event is sponsored by the St. Marys DDA, the National Park Service and the Spirit of 1812 committee.  For more information, contact Cheri at 912-576-2906.   
Beauty Bootcamp!salon ellapar
